A Katlin LaMar Mystery
by Sherri L. Board
|Sherri’s love of the mystery
genre developed after reading Mary Higgins Clark’s novel, I’ll Be
Seeing You. Since then, she has never looked back. Sherri loves to
hang out with probation officers, DA investigators, narcotics agents,
cops, pathologists, gangbangers, public defenders, ballistic
specialists—every sort of human being who will bring depth and twists and
turns to her mysteries. Her first Katlin LaMar mystery, Angels of
Anguish was published in 1999.
Sherri’s love of writing began with a brush and a bucket of boat soap. Back in 1989, Board wrote Boat Cosmetics Made Simple. She also wrote articles for Sea, Hot Boat, and Heartland Boating magazines.
Board is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writer’s of America, the Police Writers Association, and the American Crime Writers League. She volunteers for the Orange County Bar Foundation’s ShortStop Program, a unique juvenile crime diversion program.
Sherri L. Board also loves reading, traveling, sailing, and hiking. She lives in Southern California where she buries her toes in the sand whenever possible.
